From three first dates... To the alter!
Daniel and Abiola first saw each other on Hinge in January 2022. It wasn't too long before they decided to take the plunge and meet one another face to face... Turns out that's all they would enjoy as the London bar in North Clapham they met in was far to loud! They took their time and basically ended up having three first dates and then found their flow.
On a trip to the picturesque Morocco, Daniel had planned to pop the question to Abiola. He even did he research and found a beautiful place called Paradise Valley where he imagined the perfect backdrop for his proposal... however, be careful who you bring on holiday with you as Abiola's mum split the beans a bit causing Daniel to question his location plan. Option number 2 was the beach but as there were too many people there it ended up being third times the charm (just like their first date) and she was greeted with rose petals on the bed of their hotel room and Daniel asking her to be his wife!
They knew it was right because every date there was excitement, nervousness and butterflies. They had a brief pause in their relationship but it was as if God was pulling them back together constantly. Daniel was even thinking about Abiola and turned on his phone after getting off a plane and hoped she would message, and the moment the phone came on it started ringing... it was Abiola of course! From that moment on everything was just so easy, they just couldn't stop spending time with each other.
They have such an adventure ahead of them, when I asked What are you looking forward to the most after married life? they responded "moving in officially together, doing life with my favourite person" and they also have a new life on the way with their little baby girl on they way too!
